Four cards are initially dealt. Two cards to the Player and two cards to the Banker.
Each player can bet either on Player or Banker, and whichever achieves a point total closest to 9 wins. Both bets pay off even money (1 to 1), but a win on banker has a commission due to the better odds for a banker win. There are two types of commissions:
Super 6 -> house takes no commission except when Banker wins with a 6, in which case a 50% commission is deducted on that game
5% commission -> house takes 5% commission on all Banker wins
If a player bets on Player or Banker and they both get the same score, this is a Tie and the player will be returned his original bet.
All cards from 2 to 9 are counted at their face value and the Ace is counted as 1. Picture cards and tens are worth 0.
Likewise, all combinations of cards totaling 10 are worth 0.
Aside from betting on the Player or the Banker's win, there are additional side bets such as:
- Tie -> payoff is 8 to 1
- Player Pair (first 2 cards of the Player are identical) -> payoff is 11 to 1
- Banker Pair (first 2 cards of the Banker are identical) -> payoff is 11 to 1
